Privacy Policy

Last updated: 17 October 2026

This policy explains what personal data Aasma Aerospace collects when you use our websites, why we collect it, and the choices you have. We wrote it in plain words. If anything is unclear, write to us at the address at the end.

Who we are

Aasma Aerospace Private Limited (“Aasma Aerospace”, “we”), CIN U72900UP2022PTC167426, registered office Flat No. 5, Varindawan Apartment, 2A/94 Azad Nagar, Nawabganj, Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh 208002. Our operating office is at InFED, IIM Nagpur, MIHAN, Nagpur, Maharashtra 441108. We are the Data Fiduciary for the personal data described here.

This policy covers aasmaaerospace.in, our free simulator at sim.aasmaaerospace.in, and messages you send us by email, phone or WhatsApp.

What we collect

  • When you contact us: your name, email, phone number and message (contact form, email, phone or WhatsApp).
  • When you create an account: your name, username, email and password (the password is stored encrypted; we cannot read it).
  • When you buy from our shop: your name, billing and delivery address, phone, email and order details. Card, UPI and bank details are handled by our payment providers, PhonePe and PayU; we never see or store them.
  • When colleges and schools book a workshop: the contact details of the staff who write to us, and the names of participating students, which the institute gives us so we can print their certificates. We use these names only for the certificates.
  • When you use the simulator: no account is needed. Your progress is saved in your own browser, not on our servers. A security check by Cloudflare confirms you are a person and not a bot.
  • Automatically, when you visit: pages viewed, the link that brought you here, device and browser type, approximate location (city level) and IP address, through Google Analytics, our shop software and our hosting provider’s security logs. See our Cookie policy.

Why we use it

  • To answer your questions and send what you asked for, such as a brochure or a quotation.
  • To process, deliver and support your orders, and to keep the invoices and records the law requires.
  • To run your account and keep the websites secure.
  • To understand which pages help people, so we can improve them.

We use your data with your consent, which you give when you submit a form, place an order or accept cookies, or where the law allows us to use it without consent (for example, keeping tax records). We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for advertising on other websites.

Who we share it with

Only with the service providers who help us run the business, and only what they need:

  • Hostinger (website hosting and email)
  • PhonePe and PayU (payments)
  • Our courier partners (deliveries: your name, address and phone)
  • Google Analytics (visit statistics)
  • Cloudflare (simulator security check) and Cloudinary (image delivery)

We may also share data when the law requires it, for example with tax authorities or in reply to a lawful order. Some of these providers store data on servers outside India.

How long we keep it

  • Enquiries: up to 2 years after our last conversation.
  • Orders and invoices: as long as Indian tax and company law requires.
  • Accounts: until you ask us to delete them.
  • Google Analytics data: 14 months.

After that, we delete the data or make it anonymous.

Children

Our kits and simulator are used by school and college students. Orders and accounts must be made by an adult. If you are under 18, please ask a parent or guardian to contact us or order for you. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children without a parent’s or guardian’s consent; if you think we have, write to us and we will delete it.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

  • tell you what personal data we hold about you and who we shared it with;
  • correct or update it;
  • delete it (unless the law requires us to keep it, as with invoices);
  • stop using it where you gave consent (withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it);
  • let someone you name act for you if you die or cannot act yourself.

Write to our Grievance Officer below. We will acknowledge your request within 48 hours and resolve it within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our reply, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

Security

We use secure (HTTPS) connections, limited staff access and trusted providers. No website is perfectly secure, so we also keep what we collect to the minimum we need.

Changes to this policy

When we change this policy, we update the date at the top. If a change affects how we use data you already gave us, we will tell you before it takes effect.
